If cancelled within 60 days, bookings can be rescheduled for another date within 2 years of original booking but payments will not be refunded. No shows will not be refunded. If the trip is cancelled by the operator due to weather or other factors, clients may choose to reschedule for a later date or opt to receive a full refund. Contact us by phone or email to inquire about or make a cancellation.
+ How do you process the day's catch?
From the minute you land your fish, your catch is bled and kept in slush ice until we return to the dock. You can opt to take your daily catch home or drop it off for professional processing. They’ll vacuum seal, flash freeze, and pack your fish so it’s ready to be shipped or checked for your trip home. Note that processing can take up to 24 hours, so make sure to allow enough time before your flight! They also offer options to ship your catch.
+ What should I bring?
We fish rain or shine! The weather in Kodiak changes quickly so be prepared for inclement weather and be sure to bring rain gear/waterproof clothes and layers. It’s also always a bit cooler on the water. While our cabin is dry and cozy, it isn’t where you’ll find the fish! Bring sunscreen and we recommend a good pair of sunglasses as the sun here is strong!
+ What's provided?
We provide state of the line gear and tackle for fishing.
We also provide coffee, soda, and water. We recommend you bring a lunch along!
+ What kind of license do I need?
An Alaska sport fishing license is required by all clients. If you plan to fish for king salmon, don’t forget to add the king salmon stamp. All clients are required to have a printed copy of their license when they board. Licenses can be purchased online at Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
